The major project for the second six weeks (Oct. 6-Nov. 7) will be for the student to produce a written composition (It may have a "Halloween-esque" feeling to it):

• Personal narrative (a short story, written from a 1st person point-of-view).
• Length=300-400 words.
• Handwritten only. (Until Writing TAKS allows computer-typed compositions).
• Prewriting
• Drafting
• Revising
• Editing
• Publishing
